About our Team

LexisNexis Legal & Professional, which serves customers in more than 150 countries with 11,800 employees worldwide, is part of RELX, a global provider of information-based analytics and decision tools for professional and business customers. Our company has been a long-time leader in deploying AI and advanced technologies to the legal market to improve productivity and transform the overall business and practice of law, deploying ethical and powerful generative AI solutions with a flexible, multi-model approach that prioritizes using the best model from today’s top model creators for each individual legal use case.

About the Role

Create+ is LexisNexis’ next‑generation AI‑powered legal drafting solution, designed to help legal professionals draft, review, and refine documents more efficiently, directly within Microsoft Word and connected workflow surfaces.

As a Product Manager II, you will own part of the Create+ product portfolio and lead feature execution from discovery through delivery. You will develop product plans, propose new feature ideas grounded in customer pain points, and collaborate with cross‑functional teams to bring high‑value drafting capabilities to market.

You will prioritize and communicate customer issues and defects using data‑driven insights, represent your product areas to stakeholders, and lead demos at key milestones. This role is ideal for someone with strong product instincts, AI/LLM fluency, and a passion for building intuitive workflow tools for legal professionals.

Responsibilities:

  • Interact frequently with attorneys, legal professionals, and power users to generate clear customer requirements.

  • Anticipate customer needs, especially around legal drafting workflows, and translate them into prioritized product opportunities.

  • Understand how Create+ impacts customer satisfaction across drafting, review, and delivery workflows.

  • Monitor legal industry trends, drafting practices, and evolving expectations around AI‑assisted writing.

  • Aim to exceed customer expectations while balancing product viability and long‑term strategic goals.

Data‑Driven Decision‑Making & Analysis

  • Gather insights from multiple sources—including user research, usage analytics, feedback channels, and market data—to guide product decisions.

  • Make trade‑off decisions across competing priorities while maintaining alignment with Create+ strategy.

  • Formulate and evaluate hypotheses using quantitative methods, including A/B testing of drafting and workflow features.

  • Identify opportunities for product improvement through deep analysis of usage, adoption, and customer behavior.

  • Independently manage day‑to‑day product issues and propose data‑informed solutions.

Go‑to‑Market & Product Marketing Lifecycle

  • Support go‑to‑market planning by clearly communicating customer needs and delivery timelines.

  • Collaborate with Marketing, Sales, and Customer Success on launch plans and messaging for AI‑enabled drafting features.

  • Provide product expertise for customer questions about function, pricing, packaging, and value.

  • Support internal training efforts (Train‑the‑Trainer) to ensure smooth rollout of new Create+ capabilities.

  • Assist in developing collateral for demos, customer engagements, webinars, and events.

  • Outline outcomes, milestones, and key deliverables during launch and product strategy planning.

Product Delivery & Development Lifecycle

  • Solve customer needs through features that improve drafting efficiency, document quality, and workflow continuity.

  • Build prototypes and work with UX to validate drafting concepts and user flows inside Word and web surfaces.

  • Participate in structured product discovery to identify and refine new Create+ capabilities.

  • Manage parts of the product lifecycle, ensuring features move from concept to delivery smoothly.

  • Work within agile SDLC processes and partner closely with engineering, design, and data science teams.

Strategy & Commercial Acumen

  • Define strategic product vision and priorities for your Create+ feature areas.

  • Use competitive signals, market expectations, and legal‑drafting best practices to shape future product direction.

  • Develop opportunity assessments, business cases, and product development plans for new drafting and AI capabilities.

  • Understand operating costs, development plans, and commercial implications of your feature areas.

Technical Skills

  • Consider technical approaches when prioritizing functionality, especially around AI/LLM integration, model evaluation, and workflow logic.

  • Leverage a modern AI PM toolset spanning product analytics and experimentation, user‑research/prototyping, data tooling (SQL, notebooks, Python), prompt/LLM evaluation and feedback pipelines, and delivery/ops tools to drive evidence‑based product decisions and continuous improvement.

  • Understand core architectural concepts, data flows, and integration patterns needed to deliver performant drafting experiences.

  • Demonstrate fluency in modern AI concepts, including prompt design, evaluation, guardrails, and responsible‑use principles.
