Location: Spartanburg, SC | Full-Time | Fully Onsite

Take your career to the next level with American Credit Acceptance (ACA). We're seeking a Legal Analyst to join our Legal Department, where you'll play a key role in supporting legal operations, transactional matters, contracts, regulatory initiatives, and law change management.

What You’ll Do

Respond to internal and external legal inquiries, including subpoenas and regulatory requests.
Conduct in-depth legal research and analysis on federal and state laws impacting consumer finance.
Track and summarize legislative and regulatory changes to support ACA’s Law Change Management program.
Draft, review, and edit legal documents, memos, and internal communications.
Support legal operations by improving processes, organizing legal data, and managing documentation workflows.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure legal compliance and operational efficiency.
Maintain flexibility and assist with other duties as assigned.

What You Bring

2+ years of demonstrated experience in a paralegal, legal operations, administrative, or legal support role (consumer finance and law firm experience a plus).
Bachelor’s or Associate's degree in legal studies, paralegal studies, or a related field (Paralegal certification preferred).
Strong business judgment and intuition, supported by exceptional research and analytical skills with meticulous attention to detail.
Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (advanced knowledge of PowerPoint and Excel) and legal research tools.
A proactive mindset with a passion for process improvement and problem-solving.
Confident in setting goals, identifying solutions, taking initiative, and overcoming obstacles to achieve success; demonstrates willingness and ability to thrive in an environment that is evolving.
Receptive to feedback and directions, with strong organizational discipline and the ability to effectively prioritize and manage competing deadlines.
