Location: Spartanburg, SC | Full-Time | Fully Onsite

Take your career to the next level with American Credit Acceptance (ACA). We're seeking a Legal Analyst to join our Legal Department, where you'll play a key role in supporting legal operations, transactional matters, contracts, regulatory initiatives, and law change management.

What You’ll Do

  • Respond to internal and external legal inquiries, including subpoenas and regulatory requests.
  • Conduct in-depth legal research and analysis on federal and state laws impacting consumer finance.
  • Track and summarize legislative and regulatory changes to support ACA’s Law Change Management program.
  • Draft, review, and edit legal documents, memos, and internal communications.
  • Support legal operations by improving processes, organizing legal data, and managing documentation workflows.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure legal compliance and operational efficiency.
  • Maintain flexibility and assist with other duties as assigned.

What You Bring

  • 2+ years of demonstrated experience in a paralegal, legal operations, administrative, or legal support role (consumer finance and law firm experience a plus).
  • Bachelor’s or Associate's degree in legal studies, paralegal studies, or a related field (Paralegal certification preferred).
  • Strong business judgment and intuition, supported by exceptional research and analytical skills with meticulous attention to detail.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (advanced knowledge of PowerPoint and Excel) and legal research tools.
  • A proactive mindset with a passion for process improvement and problem-solving.
  • Confident in setting goals, identifying solutions, taking initiative, and overcoming obstacles to achieve success; demonstrates willingness and ability to thrive in an environment that is evolving.
  • Receptive to feedback and directions, with strong organizational discipline and the ability to effectively prioritize and manage competing deadlines.
