Title: Legal & Compliance Analyst

About this Job

As a Legal & Compliance Analyst, you will play a key role in ensuring regulatory adherence, managing contracts and vendor documentation, and maintaining company policies and processes. This role sits on the Strategy & Operations team — a high-visibility, high-output group that manages company-wide reporting, projects, and processes.

We're seeking a detail-oriented, self-directed professional who thrives in a fast-paced environment and can balance legal, regulatory, and operational responsibilities. You'll own your workload end to end — building processes from scratch and ensuring regulatory compliance across multiple states and countries. If you excel at organization, contract governance, and operating with autonomy, this is the role for you.

Objectives of this Role

  • Own contract and agreement management end to end — tracking, redlining, and execution
  • Ensure regulatory compliance across multi-state PUC filings, renewals, and reporting
  • Build and maintain SOPs, compliance trackers, and internal documentation
  • Partner with leadership on financial oversight, process improvement, and special projects

Daily and Monthly Responsibilities

  • Review, redline, and manage NDAs, MSAs, vendor agreements, and RFPs
  • Maintain document trackers and monitor SLA adherence
  • Coordinate with regulatory counsel on state energy filings and PUC compliance
  • Identify and respond to publicly available RFPs; support cross-functional initiatives

Skills & Qualifications

  • 1-2+ years in compliance, legal ops, or a related operations role
  • Experience reviewing and redlining contracts (NDAs, MSAs, or similar)
  • Highly organized — has built or maintained trackers, SOPs, or compliance systems
  • Strong written communicator; comfortable owning work independently
  • Proficient in Excel, Microsoft Suite, and Notion

  • Dental- We cover 50% of your monthly premium cost
  • Vision- We cover 50% of your monthly premium cost

Energy CX Company Culture

Our culture is not for everyone. It is designed for people who want to grow fast, take ownership and raise the bar every day.

At Energy CX, we don’t just work—we challenge each other to solve hard problems, innovate boldly and keep improving. We believe in personal growth, extreme accountability and building a team of exceptional people who push one another to be better.

We live by The Four Forces of Innovation — the levers that power innovation at scale:

Higher Standards - Raise the BarExcellence isn’t reserved for launches or headlines. It’s how we communicate, plan, and follow through.

We value ownership, prioritization, focus, discipline, effective communication, action, efficiency, resourcefulness and maximizing value.

Innovate It - Think DifferentlyInnovation isn’t about flashy ideas, it’s about taking on new challenges and outgrowing what no longer serves. At Energy CX, we are experimenting constantly and building what the customer actually needs—especially when it breaks what came before.

We value curiosity, experimentation, collaboration, bold thinking, long-term vision, customer centricity and simplicity.

Continuous Growth - Better Every Day

Growth is not perfection – it's our commitment to get better every single day. No matter how successful we become, we stay open, driven and aware that mastery is a process. We improve with feedback and through failures.

We value grit, transparency, resilience, fulfillment, constant learning, and being one team.

Do Good - Leave It BetterDoing good is about serving others and creating lasting impact. The good we do doesn't usually return to us directly – and that's the point. We believe that every system we strengthen, every teammate we invest in and every customer we guide creates an impact we may never see. But we do it anyway because our work extends far beyond today.

We value humility, community, kindness and leaving every person and project better than we found them.

The Deal at Energy CX

Our culture rewards personal growth and performance. If you want comfort, predictability or an easy path, this isn’t the place for you. If you want to push boundaries, grow faster than you thought possible and help reinvent how the world buys energy, you’ll thrive here.

We are seeking exceptional individuals to join us.
