Job Description
A well-established law firm in the Perimeter area is seeking a Legal Assistant to support its Commercial Real Estate Leasing team. This is a highly visible role working closely with approximately four attorneys, offering a blend of administrative and legal responsibilities.
The team is collaborative and fast-paced, so flexibility and a team-first mindset are essential. If you’re someone who can pivot when needed, stay organized under pressure, and keep attorneys a step ahead—you’ll fit right in.
What You’ll Do
Attorney & Team Support
- Manage complex calendars, coordinate meetings, and track key deadlines
- Assist with day-to-day workflow for a group of attorneys, ensuring nothing slips through the cracks
- Coordinate travel, client meetings, and occasional events
Document & File Management
- Draft, revise, and format legal documents, leases, and correspondence
- Open and maintain client/matter files (electronic and hard copy)
- Organize and manage documents within the firm’s document management system
Operational & Administrative Duties
- Handle incoming/outgoing mail and coordinate messenger services as needed
- Assist with time entry, billing coordination, and expense tracking
- Maintain strict confidentiality across all client matters
Team Contribution
- Jump in to assist across the team when priorities shift
- Partner with other assistants and departments to keep operations running smoothly
What They’re Looking For
- 3+ years of legal assistant experience (law firm environment preferred)
- Experience supporting multiple attorneys simultaneously
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Outlook, Excel)
- Excellent organization, communication, and follow-through skills
- Ability to work independently while staying aligned with a team
Nice to Have (But Not Required):
- Commercial Real Estate (CRE) experience, especially leasing
- Experience with systems like iManage, Litera, or Orion
