Our client, a renowned law firm in the heart of Manhattan, is seeking a skilled professional to enhance their legal team. The successful candidate will deliver essential administrative and document management services to support the firm's attorneys and paralegals, ensuring excellence in client service and adherence to tight deadlines.
Primary Duties:
- Deliver proactive and high-class administrative assistance to the legal team. - Review and refine legal documentation to uphold precision and uniformity. - Oversee various tasks such as maintaining CLE credits, managing schedules, processing expenses, and coordinating meetings. - Welcome clients, arrange appointments, and manage communications professionally. - Electronically file court documents and uphold a structured case filing system. - Assist with billing by recording attorney hours, compiling reports, and addressing client queries. - Track critical deadlines and ensure prompt progress on outstanding cases. - Engage with court officials, lawyers, and staff to gather and disseminate critical information.
Required Skills:
- Experience in legal administrative roles, with a preference for a minimum of three years in a legal environment. - Proficiency in Microsoft Office; knowledge of legal platforms like Kofax/Nuance, InTapp, LMS+, or iManage is advantageous. - Strong communication skills both written and spoken, paired with impeccable attention to detail. - Capability to juggle priorities effectively under tight deadlines. - Maintains professionalism and dedication to exceptional client service.
