Job Description
Job Title: Legal AssistantLocation: Richmond, VA Duration: 3 Months (Possible conversion)Salary Range: $17-21/hr on W2 without benefits
Introduction:This position is designed to support the Levies and Garnishments team in processing legal orders in compliance with national, state, and county laws. The role involves reviewing legal orders, documenting processes, and contributing to process improvements.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Ability to review legal orders and take appropriate action on customer accounts with 100% quality.
- Understanding of legal terms and ability to identify case types and actions needed.
- Active role in documenting processes and identifying gaps and efficiency gains.
- Engage and contribute to the continuous improvement log.
- Must have previous client experience working for this customer in the past 5 years.
Preferred Skills & Qualifications:
- Previous operations or banking experience is a huge plus.
- Strong listening skills and ability to ask questions for clarity.
- Passionate about personal development and actively networks.
Day-to-Day Responsibilities:
- Challenge current process design to be more standardized, scalable, and sustainable.
- Uphold the review of processes to measure accuracy.
- Support the modernization of the bank case management system.
- Participate in special projects as needed, including technology and automation enhancements.
