Job Description
A respected Houston plaintiff personal injury law firm is seeking an experienced Legal Assistant to provide administrative support to attorneys and legal staff. This position offers the opportunity to work alongside an experienced legal team in a collaborative, fast-paced environment while serving as a key resource in ensuring cases move efficiently.Position: Legal AssistantLocation: Houston,TX | 100% In-OfficeSalary: up to $90K + benefits and generous bonuses Responsibilities
- Prepare legal correspondence and routine legal documents
- Maintain electronic and physical case files
- Manage attorney calendars and scheduling
- Coordinate meetings, hearings, depositions, and client appointments
- Request and organize medical, employment, and other case records
- Communicate professionally with clients, courts, medical providers, and opposing counsel
- Monitor deadlines and assist with case organization
- Provide administrative support throughout the litigation process
- 3+ years of legal assistant experience
- Prior law firm experience required; plaintiff personal injury experience preferred
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and legal case management software
- Ability to manage multiple priorities while maintaining accuracy
