The Role:DLC is on the hunt for a Legal Assistant to join our team at our Corporate HQ office located in Elmsford, NY. Reporting directly to the Paralegal Director, the Legal Assistant’s duties will include but are not limited to:

Assisting with default, collections, litigation, and bankruptcy matters
Drafting default notices and other correspondence
Tracking and reporting status updates
Conducting legal research
Maintaining entity filings
Processing invoices
Providing other support to the Legal Department

Our Next Legal Assistant Has:

Bachelor’s/Associate’s degree, or equivalent relevant experience
Strong attention to detail and highly organized
Positive, can-do attitude
Ability to work well in a fast-paced environment that requires flexibility
Strong interpersonal and communications skills
Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Outlook, and Excel

The expected salary for this position is $60,000. The actual compensation will be based on factors such as scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate's work experience, education/training, job-related skills, internal peer equity, market and business considerations and other factors permitted by law.About DLC: DLC has grown to be one of the nation’s largest and most sought-after privately held owners, operators and managers of open-air retail shopping centers.
