Job Description
Elite Sourcing is working with a full-service personal injury law firm in Costa Mesa, CA seeking an experienced legal assistant to join their team.
Responsibilities:
- Communicate with medical providers, and schedule medical appointments
- Compile and review medical records
- Conduct weekly phone calls with clients, and monitor clients' medical treatments
- Communicate with insurance companies, obtain medical records, and data entry
- Maintain clients’ records by reviewing case notes, and monitoring progress
- Data entry, help prepare demand packages, assist with property damage insurance claims
- Manage open claims and send letters of representation
- Comply with HIPAA regulations
- Perform other duties as assigned
Requirements:
- 2+ years of Personal Injury Law experience is highly preferred
- Bilingual in Spanish or Korean is required
- Ability to work in large teams and be computer savvy. Experienced with Microsoft Office Suite, digital e-filing
- Excellent time management, communicational, organizational, and analytical skills
- Experienced working in a paperless environment
- Must be able to type at least 40 wpm
