Job DetailsThis is an excellent opportunity for a full-time Legal Assistant to join a highly regarded litigation team in a dynamic office environment. The individual in this role will support attorneys in defending civil litigation matters, including auto liability, trucking, and general liability cases. This is a hands-on position that requires close collaboration with both clients and internal team members.Responsibilities:Maintain attorney calendars, including tracking trial and discovery deadlinesSchedule depositions, hearings, and other legal proceedingsAssist with billing processes, including time entry and invoice submissionManage case files from opening through closing, ensuring organization and accuracyDraft and prepare correspondence and legal documents such as pleadings, motions, discovery responses, and reports under attorney supervisionOrganize and analyze case materials, including medical records, contracts, and discovery, and prepare summaries and chronologiesPrepare and track subpoenas and other records requestsPerform additional administrative and legal support tasks as neededQualifications:5+ years of experience as a legal assistant supporting litigation, preferably in a defense-side, high-volume law firm environmentExperience with state court filings, including e-filing systems, requiredProficiency in Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and OutlookStrong organizational, communication, and critical thinking skills, with the ability to work independentlyHigh school diploma or equivalent requiredInterested in hearing more?
