Requirements
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare, review, and file legal documents with state and federal courts (electronically and in person)
- Independently communicate with Defendant’s counsel regarding scheduling depositions and vehicle inspections
- Coordinate logistics with deposition vendors and vehicle inspection teams
- Draft template-based Notices of Deposition and related scheduling documents
- Calendar depositions, inspections, hearings, deadlines, and attorney calls in internal case management systems
- Communicate with clients regarding scheduling, case updates, and required appearances
- Schedule attorney calls and maintain organized litigation calendars
- Coordinate service of process and ensure compliance with applicable rules and deadlines
- Reserve hearing dates with courts and opposing counsel as needed
- Maintain accurate and organized case files, including tracking filings, service, and confirmations
- Provide administrative and litigation support to attorneys and paralegals to ensure timely case progression
Qualifications
- Prior experience in a law firm or litigation environment preferred
- Experience coordinating depositions and inspections strongly preferred
- Familiarity with California state and federal court filing systems
- Strong understanding of litigation deadlines and calendaring procedures
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
- Ability to manage multiple priorities independently
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and legal case management systems preferred
- High school diploma or equivalent required; bachelor’s degree preferred
This role will be onsite in Century City
The pay will be $23-$32/HR
