Job Description

Job Title: Legal Assistant Location: Toms River, NJ Direct-Hire Opportunity Hours: 8:00 AM-5:00 PM Monday-Thursday | 8:00 AM-4:00 PM on Friday Salary Range: $50,000-$70,000 annually

Legal Assistant Job Duties:

Handle subrogation, property damage, PIP, and insurance claims
Investigate claims and evaluate liability and damages
Communicate with insurance adjusters, attorneys, and experts
Maintain claim files and litigation diaries
Assist with pleadings, motions, discovery, arbitration, and settlements
Manage multiple files while meeting deadlines

What We're Looking For:

Experience in one or more of the following is preferred:

Subrogation
Insurance claims
Property damage claims
Personal injury / PIP
Auto claims
Litigation or paralegal work

We're looking for someone who is organized, detail-oriented, professional, and a strong problem solver. The ability to work independently and communicate effectively is important.
