Talis Group’s company client is a national law firm seeking a Legal Assistant for its civil defense practice group in Louisville. Ideal candidates must have at least 3 or more years of experience as a legal assistant. Our client offers a friendly, business casual environment with a competitive salary and full benefits package.
Highlighted Duties:
- Calendar management; track pending deadlines, court appearances, meetings and more.
- File management; assist with document drafting and case file maintenance.
- Editing and proofreading legal documents
- E-Filing with KY Court Systems
Highlighted Qualifications:
- Previous experience preparing and filing legal documents (KY federal and state courts)
- Significant knowledge of court rules and procedures, attorney calendaring management, and e-filing
- Strong computer skills in MS Office and document management systems.
- Candidates should be comfortable multi-tasking in a fast-paced, team-structured setting.
- Professional demeanor, attention to detail and good communication skills needed as well.
