Job Description
A national law firm has partnered with Talis Group to recruit an experienced Legal Assistant to assist their corporate attorneys with managing large multi-million-dollar legal contracts and agreements. This is a full-time, on-site position in Lexington, KY and offers a full benefits package (health, life, disability, dental, vision, HSA and EAP programs), 15 PTO days and a salary range of $60,000-$68,000.Highlighted Duties:
- Drafting documents such as purchase agreements, construction contracts, leases and more.
- This position will require communicating with multiple attorneys, contractors, and accounting/ finance departments regarding deadlines, project milestones, billing/ invoices.
- Manage Large document organization; indexing and filing
- Other duties might include possible litigation support
Highlighted Requirements:
- Bachelors or Associate degree in legal studies, business or similar.
- Previous legal assistant experience in corporate law/ business law, real estate/ construction and business litigation
- Advanced use of Microsoft Word, including redlining, tracking changes and more
- Experience with Outlook, Excel and other business/ project based software.
- Excellent writing and editing skills with a keen eye for details.
- Multi tasking and organizational skills required.
