Job Description

Privacy and Data Protection Manager - Contract - $50-60 per HR

The Privacy and Data Protection Manager will oversee the Privacy and Data Security Compliance Program in a North American setting. This onsite role involves managing privacy policies, handling consumer requests, and ensuring compliance with privacy laws. Key responsibilities include project management and liaising with global privacy teams.

Key Responsibilities

Assist with daily operations of the Privacy and Data Security Compliance Program.
Prepare and update privacy policies and operational documentation.
Manage consumer privacy rights requests and reporting.
Conduct privacy risk assessments and support data mapping.
Monitor emerging legislation and recommend updates to policies.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree required.
5-10 years of experience in privacy and data protection.
Excellent written and communication skills.
Self-starter comfortable in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.
Project management skills and understanding of privacy frameworks.
