This role is central to our operations and is responsible for managing all aspects of client billing. The successful candidate will be an integral part of our team, ensuring that our financial operations run smoothly and efficiently. Job DetailsWhat You'll Do:1. Managing the entire billing process, from time entry and expense review to client invoicing.2. Utilizing Prebill Viewer to review and edit prebills in response to attorney and secretary requests.3. Applying retainer funds as directed by the attorney.4. Preparing, printing, and mailing invoices to clients.5. Reviewing and verifying accuracy of billing and supporting documentation as required.6. Researching and responding to inquiries regarding billing issues and problems.7. Creating billing schedules and various other billing analyses as required.8. Providing administrative support to lawyers on a day-to-day basis.9. Ensuring that all transactions comply with company policies and procedures.10. Collaborating with the accounting team to devise new strategies for revenue generation.Qualifications:1. Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field or similar experience 2. A minimum of 3 years of experience as a Legal Biller or in a similar role.3. Proficiency in Prebill Viewer or equivalent software.4. Strong understanding of basic accounting principles, fair credit practices and collection regulations.5. Proven ability to calculate, post, and manage accounting figures and financial records.6. High degree of accuracy and attention to detail.7. Excellent written and verbal communication skills.8. Proficiency in MS Office, particularly MS Excel.9. Strong problem-solving skills and ability to meet deadlines.10. Ability to work independently and as part of a team.11. Knowledge of legal terminology and principles.12.
