Job Description
A growing Alpharetta-based law firm is seeking an experienced Legal Billing Specialist with a strong background in insurance defense billing to manage high-volume, complex billing operations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee the full billing cycle, from pre-bill to submission and collections
- Prepare and submit LEDES invoices in compliance with client guidelines
- Review/edit time entries and ensure accurate UTBMS coding
- Manage eBilling platforms (Tymetrix, CounselLink, Legal Tracker, etc.)
- Resolve billing rejections, reductions, and discrepancies
- Partner with attorneys on billing inquiries and reporting
- Help streamline billing processes and support team growth
Qualifications:
- 3+ years of legal billing experience in insurance defense
- Strong knowledge of LEDES, UTBMS, and eBilling systems
- Ability to manage multiple client billing guidelines
- Detail-oriented with strong communication skills
- Experience with billing software (TABS3, Clio, or similar)
