Job Description
A well-established Atlanta law firm is seeking an experienced Legal Billing Specialist to support its growing finance team. This position offers a hybrid schedule after training and a high level of visibility working directly with attorneys and clients, with a strong emphasis on high-volume e-billing.
Key Responsibilities:
- Generate, review, and finalize client invoices using Elite 3E
- Edit and process pre-bills in coordination with attorneys
- Manage high-volume e-billing through multiple client portals; troubleshoot rejections and ensure timely resubmissions
- Ensure strict compliance with client billing guidelines, including LEDES formatting requirements
- Communicate with attorneys and clients to resolve billing discrepancies and issues
- Assist with billing analysis, reporting, and collections follow-up
Qualifications:
- 3+ years of legal billing experience in a law firm environment
- Strong hands-on experience with Elite 3E required
- Extensive experience with e-billing platforms and processes
- Detail-oriented with the ability to manage deadlines in a fast-paced setting
