LEGAL COLLECTIONS ATTORNEY
LOCATION: Solon, Ohio | Onsite
COMPENSATION & SCHEDULE• $65,000–$120,000 annually• Full-time• Business-casual work environment
ROLE IMPACTSupport a high-volume creditor’s rights and collections practice by managing legal matters from initial review through court proceedings. Success in this role requires strong legal judgment, timely case management, effective advocacy, and clear communication with clients, courts, opposing counsel, and internal teams.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES• Represent clients at hearings throughout Ohio and travel regularly to courts as required.• Manage a high-volume caseload while meeting court deadlines and performance expectations.• Draft motions, briefs, pleadings, and other legal documents.• Conduct legal research, negotiation, and advocacy related to creditor’s rights and collections matters.• Communicate with clients, courts, opposing counsel, and the public while collaborating with and coordinating internal team members.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS• J.D. from an accredited law school and active Ohio law license in good standing.• At least 1 year of law clerk or practicing attorney experience.• Working knowledge of the Fair Debt Collection Practices Act (FDCPA) and applicable state and federal collections laws; willingness to travel regularly to courts throughout Ohio.

PREFERRED SKILLS• Creditor’s Rights or Collections experience.• Kentucky and/or West Virginia bar admission.• Prior supervisory or management experience.
