Job Description

Legal Collections Specialist (Paralegal)Own full lifecycle of collections & litigation work

Fast-paced role with high impact and cross-team exposure

Manage and oversee the collections process, including contacting clients and negotiating payment plans.Review and analyze accounts receivable to identify overdue accounts and address discrepancies.Prepare and maintain accurate records of collection activities and communications.Collaborate with internal departments to resolve billing issues and ensure client satisfaction.Draft and review legal documents related to collections, ensuring compliance with applicable laws.Provide support for legal proceedings, including preparing documentation and coordinating with legal counsel.Monitor and report on collection trends and provide recommendations for process improvements.Maintain up-to-date knowledge of relevant regulations and industry standards.MPI does not discriminate on the basis of race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity or expression, national origin, age, disability, veteran status, marital status, or based on an individual's status in any group or class protected by applicable federal, state or local law.
