Job Description

As a Legal Contracts Specialist, you'll play a critical role in supporting Nasdaq's award-winning legal team by managing commercial contracts that enable our innovative products and services across global markets.

You'll thrive in this position if you're detail-oriented, collaborative, and bring a passion for technology and contract management to a fast-paced, high-impact environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Review, redline, and negotiate commercial contracts using Nasdaq's contract playbook and approved templates.

  • Support contract intake for sales-related requests across Nasdaq's US business, ensuring complete and accurate information.

  • Collaborate with sales teams, business stakeholders, and legal counsel to align on contract terms and escalate when needed.

  • Maintain and update the contract repository system with accurate tracking, reporting, and analysis.

  • Drive continuous improvement of contracting processes, templates, and training programs for internal teams.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.

  • 3-5 years of experience managing the full contract lifecycle, including drafting, negotiation, and administration.

  • Strong ability to identify contract risks and negotiate terms in alignment with company policies.

  • Clear communicator with experience working in collaborative, cross-functional environments.

  • Proficiency in contract lifecycle management software and intake queuing systems.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree or legal training.

  • Experience in financial services, fintech, or regulated industries.

  • Exposure to global teams and cross-border contracting practices.
