We are seeking a talented and motivated Senior Legal Counsel to provide practical, risk-based legal guidance in a large, multi-state security services organization. Key Responsibilities

Serve as the primary legal advisor on employment law matters, including recruiting, discipline, wage and hour compliance, and employee relations.
Provide strategic legal guidance on commercial contracts, operational risk management, and regulatory compliance.
Lead and oversee the Legal and Compliance team, managing paralegals, compliance specialists, and external legal resources.
Manage employment litigation, administrative claims, and workplace investigations with sound judgment and responsiveness.
Develop and deliver training programs on employment law compliance and workplace ethics.

Required Skills and Qualifications

Juris Doctor degree from an accredited law school with an active license to practice law in at least one U.S. jurisdiction.
5+ years of employment law experience, including law firm and in-house roles preferred.
Strong knowledge of federal and multi-state employment laws and compliance.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills with high emotional intelligence.
Proven ability to provide clear, actionable advice under time pressure and manage multiple priorities.
