This includes overseeing all aspects of bond transactions, ensuring compliance with state and federal regulations, preparing legal documentation, and advising municipal leadership on financial strategies aligned with regulatory standards. The position also requires coordination with state oversight agencies and participation in public finance proceedings. 9 Mandatory Requirements Licensed to practice law in the State of New Jersey for at least five years. Minimum five years of experience representing municipalities in public finance matters. Experience representing municipalities before the New Jersey Local Finance Board. Recognized nationally as bond counsel and listed in the Bond Buyer's Municipal Marketplace Directory. 10 Skill set info Strong knowledge of public finance laws, regulations, and compliance requirements. Ability to prepare, review, and interpret complex financial and legal documents. Proven experience in advising government entities on financing structures. Skilled in representing clients before state regulatory bodies. Excellent analytical, negotiation, and communication skills.
