Job Description
Shulman Rogers is seeking a detail-oriented and proficient Legal Document Specialist. As a Legal Document Specialist, you will be responsible for creating, formatting, and editing legal documents using various software. The ideal candidate will have 5+ years of experience (in a legal setting preferred).
Primary Duties and Responsibilities:
- Typing and formatting documents such as reports, letters, memos, manuals, and presentations using word processing software.
- Proofread correspondence, memoranda, pleadings and documents to ensure accuracy of grammar, punctuation, and spelling errors.
- Coordinate with colleagues to gather necessary information and inputs for document creation.
- Troubleshoot and resolve formatting or technical issues with documents.
qualifications and skills:
- High school diploma or equivalent; additional certification in word processing.
- 5+ years of word processing experience, preferably in a legal or professional services environment.
- Ability to communicate clearly and effectively to build strong working relationships.
- Good organizational skills for prioritizing workload.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality work.
