Team Overview
The Legal Intake Coordinator will manage legal intake requests from Church & Ministry Alliance (CMA) members and prospective members, working closely with ADF teams to efficiently process inquiries and legal review requests. This role will enhance the member experience by delivering VIP-level service for all legal referrals. The coordinator will ensure timely, professional, and high-quality service while maintaining accuracy and compliance with ADF intake protocols.
Key Responsibilities
- Implement and maintain an efficient, responsive intake process in accordance with ADF Legal Intake protocols to manage a high volume of legal assistance requests from CMA members and prospective members.
- Create, maintain, and manage accurate records and data to track all incoming and outgoing CMA intake requests, ensuring compliance with ADF protocols related to confidentiality, conflicts of interest, and matter lifecycle management.
- Receive, initiate, and promptly respond to inbound and outbound legal intake calls and emails from CMA members and prospective members, documenting all communications.
- Summarize relevant legal facts for attorney review, review intake matters with attorneys, and serve as the liaison between CMA intake contacts and attorneys.
- Decline legal advice or assistance and refer matters to Allied Attorneys as directed by attorneys.
- Participate in intake team and CMA team trainings and meetings as requested.
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree or the equivalent combination of education , training, and experience that provides the required knowledge, skills and abilities.
- Prior administrative and customer service experience.
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office and familiarity with electronic databases.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Preferred Qualifications
- Familiarity with legal terms and basic legal research.
