Legal Intern

We're seeking a bright, energetic, and collaborative intern to join our Legal team. The role is open to college students with an interest in law who are eager to learn about commercial transactions, AI, privacy, and security in a fast-paced corporate environment. Interns will have the opportunity to work closely with cross-functional teams, support contract review and negotiation, and gain hands-on exposure to legal processes in a dynamic, global company.

Your Role

• Conduct basic legal research
• Assist with maintaining repositories of legal responses and creating legal resources for use/reference by applicable teams within the organization
• Draft routine letters and other legal correspondence
• Assist with developing best practice policies, commercial contracting playbooks, and automation across various Legal workstreams
• Monitor and maintain data quality within Legal systems, including SolarWinds' contract management and procure-to-pay systems
• Handle miscellaneous administrative tasks including managing contract files and templates for the Legal team, locating agreements, uploading and organizing fully executed copies of legal documents, etc.
• Assist attorneys and other teams with ad hoc research and projects as necessary

Your Experience

• Fast learner with strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a high attention to detail
• Comfortable working with Microsoft Office (including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, SharePoint); familiarity with DocuSign is a plus, but not required
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to maintain strict confidentiality while working with sensitive information
• Team player; works efficiently and can be flexible and switch gears quickly if projects need to be set aside for high-priority escalations and urgent matters
