We are seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Legal Intern to join our in-house Legal Department. This internship offers a unique opportunity to gain hands-on experience with legal matters related to the construction industry, including contracts, risk management, regulatory compliance, litigation support, and corporate governance.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist in drafting, reviewing, and organizing construction contracts, subcontracts, NDAs, and other legal documents.

• Support due diligence efforts and help maintain legal files and databases.

• Research laws, regulations, and legal articles related to construction, real estate, labor, and environmental issues.

• Aid in the preparation of legal correspondence and memoranda.

• Assist in responding to subpoenas, discovery requests, and other litigation matters.

• Observe negotiations and meetings with external counsel, contractors, and internal stakeholders.

• Provide administrative support to the legal team as needed.

Qualifications

• Currently enrolled in a J.D. program (1L or 2L preferred).

• Strong academic performance and interest in construction law, contracts, real estate, or corporate law.

• Excellent research, writing, and analytical skills.

• High level of integrity, professionalism, and attention to detail.

• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.

• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and legal research tools (e.g., Westlaw, LexisNexis).
