Job Description

Legal Office Services Associate Raleigh, NC (onsite) 4+ Months Contract Summary: Provides exceptional customer service within a legal office environment by supporting daily front-office operations, administrative tasks, and client-facing services. Acts as the first point of contact for visitors and employees, maintaining a professional and welcoming atmosphere while assisting legal staff including partners, paralegals, and administrative assistants. This role requires a high level of professionalism, strong communication skills, and the ability to manage multiple responsibilities such as reception duties, meeting coordination, clerical support, and light hospitality services. The position also involves maintaining organization, supporting firm operations, and contributing to a positive client and employee experience. Responsibilities: Greet and welcome all visitors and employees in a professional manner Answer and manage incoming calls following firm phone etiquette standards Schedule and prepare meeting and conference rooms, ensuring required supplies, beverages, and video conferencing setup Provide administrative and clerical support, including document preparation, file maintenance, and calendar management Prepare legal documents and correspondence from drafts or dictated text Assist in scheduling appointments and meetings and managing deadlines Maintain visitor security procedures and monitor staff availability for call and visitor handling Serve as a concierge for guests and staff, including familiarity with local services such as restaurants and coffee shops Maintain cleanliness and professional appearance of the lobby and workspace Perform light housekeeping and hospitality duties such as arranging beverages and food Order, organize, and maintain office supplies and supply areas Build professional relationships with clients and firm employees Support company and community initiatives and events Provide additional value-added services as directed by site management Perform other duties as assigned Requirements: High school diploma required Two years of related business experience preferred, with strong preference for administrative experience in a legal environment Associate or Bachelor’s degree preferred Strong customer service and interpersonal skills with a professional demeanor Excellent written and verbal communication skills Strong computer skills, including MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) Technical aptitude, including ability to support conference call setup Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously and stay organized Ability to work independently with a proactive approach Experience in office copy/print and mail handling tasks Demonstrated job stability and work history Metasys Technologies is an equal opportunity employer.
