Job Description
Candidates who receive an offer will be required to successfully complete a background check and drug test as a condition of employment. Job Title: Legal Office Services Location: Orlando, FL Duration: 8 months (Temp to hire) Mon-Fri, 8am- 5pm Provides operational support within a legal office environment, including high-volume copy/print, scanning, and mail services. This role requires handling sensitive, time-critical documents with accuracy and professionalism. It is a hands-on, non-administrative position with regular movement and standing. Responsibilities Operate high-volume copy, print, scanning, and mail processing equipment Perform copying, binding, finishing, and document formatting tasks Handle incoming/outgoing mail, faxing, shipping/receiving, and postage application Maintain, inspect, and troubleshoot copier and mail equipment; clear jams and escalate issues Manage scanning, file conversion, naming, OCR, FTP transfers, and document organization (including TOC) Maintain logs for billing, service, meters, and inventory; calculate job charges Distribute office supplies, mail, and completed jobs to designated locations (may travel between buildings) Ensure quality control, confidentiality, and adherence to tight deadlines Respond to service calls and customer requests; provide status updates and support Perform filing, archiving, and document purging as needed Use bindery and finishing equipment (e.g., cutter, shrink-wrap, stapler, hole driller) Assist with off-site project coordination and general office support Requirements High school diploma, GED, or equivalent experience 1+ year experience in a legal office environment strongly preferred Experience with high-volume copy/print and mail operations Strong computer skills including MS Office and email; ability to manage document software and setup conference calls Technical aptitude with printers, scanners, and office equipment Strong communication, customer service, and organizational skills Ability to work independently, troubleshoot issues, and follow technical instructions Ability to stand/walk for extended periods (non-desk role) Stable work history demonstrating reliability Knowledge of shipping/receiving procedures; basic electronics knowledge preferred Professional demeanor and appearance (business professional dress code) Metasys Technologies is an equal opportunity employer.
