Overview
This position provides office services support within a professional law firm environment. Primary responsibilities include copy and print services, inbound and outbound mail processing, shipping and receiving, and conference room technology support. This is a hands-on, customer-facing role requiring a polished, business professional appearance, strong technical skills, and the ability to remain on your feet for much of the workday.
Responsibilities
- Process incoming and outgoing mail and packages.
- Operate high-volume copiers, printers, and related office equipment.
- Provide copy, print, scanning, and document production services.
- Set up laptops and conference room technology for meetings and conference calls.
- Assist with shipping and receiving, including verifying packing slips and preparing outgoing shipments.
- Support document management and workflow systems.
- Troubleshoot basic office equipment and technology issues.
- Maintain organized mail, copy, and production areas.
- Deliver outstanding customer service to attorneys, staff, and visitors.
- Work independently while managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced legal office.
Qualifications
Required
- High school diploma or GED.
- 1-2 years of office services, mailroom, print, copy center, or related experience.
- Strong computer skills and technical aptitude.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to lift, move, and transport office materials as needed.
- Ability to stand and walk for extended periods throughout the workday.
- Strong organizational, problem-solving, and customer service skills.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
Preferred
- 2+ years of experience working in a law firm or legal office environment.
- Experience with high-volume copiers, printers, and document production equipment.
- Knowledge of shipping and receiving procedures.
- Experience with document management or cost recovery systems.
- Basic knowledge of office equipment maintenance and troubleshooting.
- Stable work history demonstrating reliability and longevity.
