Overview
Job Description
- Receive, review, and process billing records requests in a timely and accurate manner
- Monitor records requests received
- Gather, organize, and prepare documents and records required for legal requests
- Provide status updates and clarify requests as needed
- Ensure all legal requests comply with applicable laws, regulations, and company policies
- Work closely with internal departments to obtain necessary information for legal requests
- Handle sensitive information with the highest level of confidentiality and integrity
- Review accounts for additional information needed for completion
- Familiarity with medical records a plus
- 1–2 years of medical billing knowledge preferred
- Attention to detail and accuracy is a must
- Proficient MS Office skills
- Excellent written communications and organizational skills
- Flexible mentality; willing and capable of performing varied tasks and adapting to change
- Able to work in a team environment
- Professionally exercises discretion and independent judgment in day-to-day work
- High school diploma or equivalent
