Mid-size firm has a need for a Litigation Legal Secretary. This person will be responsible for providing administrative and clerical support to two or more lawyers. This varies from transcribing and proofreading legal documents, scheduling court depositions, hearings, and meetings, to filing and organizing important documents.100% paid parking100% paid benefits for employeeHybrid Schedule (3 days in office 2 days remote)Litigation SecretaryCore Requirements· Minimum 5 years litigation experience. · Knowledge of document management systems. iManage a plus· Knowledge of legal time billing system. - Support two or more attorneys
- Transcribe from dictation, filing, and organizing, sometimes voluminous, Word files, PDF documents
- Coordinate with Nurses who are responsible for obtaining documents from hospitals and other medical records providers to review for possible areas of non-compliance
- eFiling proficiency with courts in multiple states
