Position: Legal Secretary Location: Woodland Hills, CA (Hybrid, 3 days onsite) Pay: $95,000 to $110,000 annually Experience: 5+ years of experience to support attorneys in the Litigation Department. Education: High school diploma required, bachelors degree preferred. Type: Full-time; Direct Hire Schedule: Day Shift, 8:30am to 5:30pm Kent Daniels & Associates is seeking a Legal Secretary to join our dynamic law firm client! Job Description: Draft and format correspondence, briefs, and legal documents. Filing of legal documents with state and federal courts (eFiling knowledge is a plus); proofreading all documents prior to distribution or filing. Maintain and follow up on attorney-client deadlines and calendar appointments (Outlook and CompuLaw). Maintain/update client files; prepare and process engagement letters and new client/matter requests. Arrange meetings and conference calls, support with catering, technology, and reserving conference rooms. Organize travel for assigned attorneys and complete expense reimbursements. Review and ensure accuracy of vendor invoices; prepare check requests and submit invoices for payment. Provide assistance to visitors, paralegals, and attorneys (support with overflow). Position Requirements: Proficiency with MS Office (Word, Outlook, PowerPoint, and Excel), Lexis Nexis, Pacer, ECF, iManage, and document management system, CompuLaw, Concur, Chrome River, Aderant, Intapp, and Litera needed. Must be able to handle multiple assignments while maintaining a professional demeanor. Demonstrated knowledge of legal terminology, legal documents, and legal processes, including the ability to mark and generate a table of contents and table of authorities.
