Legal Secretary Real Estate Focus Location: East Norwich Duration: Contract Experience: At least 2 3 years Schedule: Full-time Overview: We are seeking a detail-oriented Legal Secretary with at least 2 3 years of experience to support attorneys in a Real Estate practice. The ideal candidate is organized, professional, and comfortable working in a fast-paced legal environment. This role involves document preparation, case file management, scheduling, and communication with clients, courts, and vendors. Key Responsibilities: Prepare, revise, and format legal documents, including correspondence, contracts, leases, pleadings, and closing binders. Maintain and organize electronic and physical case files. Manage attorney calendars, schedule meetings, coordinate conference calls, and arrange travel when necessary. Assist with real estate transaction support, including title documentation, closing checklists, and signature coordination. Perform e-filing in state and/or federal courts (depending on practice needs). Screen and route incoming calls; communicate professionally with clients, court personnel, and external parties. Ensure confidential information is handled in compliance with firm policies. Required Qualifications: 2 3 years of legal secretary or legal administrative experience in a law firm environment. Strong proficiency in Microsoft Word, Outlook, PowerPoint, and Excel. Experience with legal document formatting and proofreading. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Strong organizational skills and attention to detail. Ability to manage priorities and meet deadlines
