The Lending Servicing Specialist is responsible for ensuring the accuracy and integrity of loan data that has been entered into our core system.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Review loans boarded to the system for completeness and accuracy
- Compare data fields between closing documents and the core loan system
- Identify discrepancies and ensure timely resolution with relevant business units
- Maintain detailed records of quality control findings and corrections
- Collaborate with other business units to uphold data standards
- Support the team in maintaining compliance and operational standards
- Assist management in maintaining compliance within the Bank's core processing system
- Provide input relative to quality control
- Ensure that all departmental documents and activities are performed in compliance with applicable laws, regulations, policies, and procedures as applicable to this position, including completion of required compliance training.
- Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned
Qualifications

- Excellent attention to detail and strong analytical skills
- Ability to read and interpret documents such as attorney prepared documents, procedure manuals, and general business correspondence
- Ability to write business correspondence
- Ability to effectively speak and present information in one-on-one and small group situations to other employees in the organization.
- Excellent time management and organizational skills.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills.
- Ability to read, analyze, and interpret government regulations, trade journals, and legal documents.
- Ability to effectively respond to common inquiries from associates and internal audit groups.
Education and Experience
- Computer Skills
- MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Database programs
- Previous banking experience preferred
