Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT)

Location: LouisianaWork Setting: Remote / TelehealthPosition: Full-TimeSalary: $115,000–$120,000 per yearSchedule: Monday–Friday, 9:00 AM–5:00 PM

Position Overview

We are hiring an LMFT licensed in Louisiana to provide remote therapy to adults, couples, and families. You may work with clients who are dealing with strain in their relationships, parenting concerns, grief, separation, or other changes that are affecting life at home. The role calls for someone who can handle sensitive conversations with care, stay organized with documentation, and know when a situation may need additional clinical attention.

Day-to-Day Responsibilities

  • Conduct virtual therapy sessions with individuals, couples, and families
  • Work through concerns involving marriage, parenting, family changes, and relationship stress
  • Help clients better understand what may be contributing to ongoing difficulties
  • Keep required notes and case records complete and current
  • Respond appropriately when safety or risk concerns arise
  • Coordinate with another provider when additional services are involved
  • Maintain client confidentiality and appropriate professional boundaries
  • Follow Louisiana LMFT licensing, ethical, and HIPAA requirements

Requirements

  • Active Louisiana LCSW license (in good standing)
  • Master’s in Social Work (MSW)
  • Experience providing psychotherapy in outpatient settings (telehealth is a plus)
  • Comfortable with EHR documentation and video-based care
  • Reliable internet and a private workspace for sessions
