Job Description

Northwest Specialty Hospital is seeking a team-oriented Licensed Clinical Social Worker to join our Case Management Team!

The Licensed Clinical Social Worker is responsible for providing initial evaluations, individual, and group therapy. In addition, this position will provide consultation services and suicide risk analysis to our patient population.

Essential Functions:

  • Provides consultations to clients
  • Initial mental health evaluations resulting in treatment plans
  • Assessing clients using standardized assessment/screening tools, measures, etc.
  • Provide brief, solution focused therapy
  • Provide group psychoeducation/treatment related to chronic medical conditions;
  • provide information and referral services;
  • Care coordination
  • Crisis assessments/triage with appropriate interventions
  • Provision of other services related to wellness
  • Documentation of services provided in accordance with requirements
  • Other related activities designed to provide integrated health care services
  • Individual psychotherapy with clients
  • Documentation and scheduling in electronic health record

Qualifications and Preferred Experience:

  • Demonstrates eligibility for employment in the U.S.
  • Master's Degree in related field
  • Current LCSW licensure through Idaho Board of Social Work Examiners
  • Demonstrated skills in verbal and written English communications for safe and effective patient care and to meet documentation standards
  • Demonstrate initiative and discipline in time management and medical record review
  • Effective interpersonal skills
  • 3-4 years of relatable experience
  • Current BLS Certification
