Job Description

Global Service Resources is seeking a compassionate and skilled Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) or a strong Associate Clinical Social Worker (ACSW) to support patients in our Emergency Department.Job Title: LCSW or ACSWLocation: Sylmar, CA 91342Pay Rate:

LCSW: $48/hour*
ACSW: $35/hour

Responsibilities:

Provide crisis intervention and psychosocial assessments for ED patients*
Conduct risk assessments for safety, abuse, neglect, and mental health concerns*
Assist with care coordination and discharge planning, including community referrals*
Offer emotional support to patients and families during emergencies*
Collaborate closely with physicians, nurses, and interdisciplinary teams*
Document assessments, interventions, and referrals in accordance with hospital standards*
Provide support in OB-related situations when needed (Labor & Delivery, NICU, etc.)

Qualifications:

LCSW (Licensed Clinical Social Worker) or ACSW (Associate Clinical Social Worker) with strong clinical experience*
Experience in crisis intervention*
Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced Emergency Department*
Strong assessment, communication, and de-escalation skills*
Knowledge of community resources and discharge planning

Preferred Experience:

Individuals experiencing homelessness*
Substance use and co-occurring disorders*
Grief and bereavement*
Maternal/OB populations (L&D, NICU)*
Patients in need of immediate crisis stabilization
