Job Description

We are seeking a friendly, organized, and dependable Customer Service Representative to join our Farmers Insurance agency in Mount Vernon, WA. This is a full-time, in-office position focused on providing exceptional service to our clients while supporting the daily operations of the agency.

Responsibilities

Provide outstanding service to existing and prospective clients in person, by phone, and by email

Assist customers with policy changes, billing questions, claims inquiries, and general account support

Process policy updates, endorsements, renewals, and documentation accurately and efficiently

Schedule appointments and follow up with clients as needed

Identify opportunities to offer additional coverage and refer sales opportunities to licensed agents

Maintain accurate client records and documentation in agency management systems

Support agency initiatives related to retention, reviews, and customer outreach

Help maintain a professional, welcoming office environment

Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent (college coursework a plus)

Prior customer service experience preferred (insurance experience a plus, but not required)

Strong communication and interpersonal skills

Professional demeanor and positive attitude

Excellent organizational and time-management skills

Comfortable using computers, CRM systems, and office software

Ability to multitask and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment

Must be reliable, punctual, and detail-oriented

Property, Casualty, Life, and Disability insurance licenses are required (we can assist you in obtaining the required licenses)
