Position Overview

We are seeking a motivated and experienced Licensed Insurance Agent (220 License) to join our growing team in Sebastian, Florida. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in writing and binding new business, servicing existing clients, and building long-term customer relationships.

This role offers the opportunity to work in a fast-paced agency environment while delivering outstanding customer service and contributing to agency growth.

Key Responsibilities

• Quote, sell, and bind insurance policies and products
• Provide exceptional customer service by understanding client needs and recommending appropriate coverage solutions
• Review, modify, and service insurance policies accurately and efficiently
• Maintain compliance with agency procedures through timely documentation and recordkeeping
• Track sales activities, transactions, and policy changes with detailed account notes
• Manage and update customer information within agency databases and CRM systems
• Support mail processing and document management functions
• Assist with policy renewals, retention efforts, and customer relationship management
• Market and promote new business opportunities within the local community
• Perform additional duties as assigned

Qualifications

Required

• Active Florida 220 General Lines License
• 3 to 5 years of insurance industry experience
• Proven success writing and binding new business
• Experience servicing existing clients and managing policy renewals
• Strong understanding of personal lines and commercial lines insurance

Preferred Skills & Competencies

• Proficiency with CRM systems and agency management software
• Experience using comparative rating software and carrier rating platforms
• Strong knowledge of insurance carrier products, pricing, and underwriting guidelines
• Expertise in managing and growing an existing book of business
• Relationship-building and account rewrite experience
• Ability to multitask and thrive in a fast-paced environment
• Proactive problem-solving skills and a strong sense of ownership
• Positive, team-oriented attitude with a "can-do" approach
