Licensed Journeyman Electrician - House, NM

POSITION SCOPE AND ORGANIZATIONAL IMPACT

Moss is the #1 Solar EPC and is currently seeking an experienced Electrical Journeyman to support our electrical team in House, New Mexico.

Locals to House, NM and surrounding areas, preferred!

ESSENTIAL JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Supervise multiple electrical crews ensuring we are compliant with state statutes

Supervise, mentor, and train apprentices

Ensuring quality workmanship and adherence to safety procedures

Run electrical wiring for DC and AC circuits according to project specifications and local codes

Diagnosing and resolving electrical issues within solar PV systems

Performing routine inspections and maintenance checks on solar installations

Ensure all electrical work complies with state and local building codes and regulations

Perform other duties as assigned

REQUIREMENTS

• Must enjoy working outdoors in all types of weather
• Must be able to walk, stand, kneel, and lift heavy materials, adhering to all safety standards
• Must have reliable transportation to and from the project site
• Ability to convey a positive and professional attitude, adhering to Moss core values
• To ensure a safe work environment, a pre-employment drug screening is required EDUCATION AND WORK EXPERIENCE

State Journeyman license required for the state employed in New Mexico

Minimum of High School diploma required

Proficiency in using electrical tools and testing equipment for solar installations

Comfortable working in a fast-moving dynamic environment with ability to handle a high-pressure environment, and prioritize work effectively

Detail oriented, organized, and efficient individual able to complete tasks in a timely and accurate manner

JOB LOCATION: House, New Mexico

CLASSIFICATION: FULL TIME - NON-EXEMPT -

HOURLY REPORTS TO: ELECTRICAL SUPERINTENDENT
