Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT)
Location: VermontSetting: Remote/TelehealthPosition: Full-TimeSalary: $115,000 to $120,000 a yearSchedule: Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM
Job Summary
As a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist, you will work directly with clients who need support navigating relationship issues, family dynamics, emotional concerns, and everyday life pressures. This role is centered on delivering structured, effective therapy through telehealth, helping clients build healthier patterns, improve communication, and move forward with clear treatment goals.
Responsibilities
- Deliver virtual therapy sessions to individuals, couples, and families
- Complete intake assessments and gather relevant clinical history
- Create and update individualized treatment plans
- Help clients address conflict, communication issues, anxiety, stress, and family-related concerns
- Keep detailed, organized, and compliant progress notes
- Work within licensing, privacy, and telehealth regulations
Requirements
- Master’s degree in Marriage and Family Therapy or a related field
- Active LMFT license in Vermont
- Experience providing therapy to couples and families
- Strong clinical assessment and treatment planning skills
- Comfortable using telehealth platforms and electronic health records
