Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT)
Location: VermontWork Setting: Remote / TelehealthEmployment: Full-TimeSalary: $115,000–$120,000 per yearHours: Monday–Friday, 9:00 AM–5:00 PM
Your day will mainly consist of scheduled video appointments with individuals, couples, and families. Clients may come to therapy with relationship problems, family conflict, communication difficulties, emotional stress, or significant changes in their lives.
You’ll decide how to approach each case based on your clinical assessment and experience. Time between appointments will be used for notes, case review, and any follow-up needed to keep treatment moving forward.
The role includes:
- Conducting individual, couples, and family therapy
- Completing new-client assessments and gathering relevant history
- Determining treatment priorities and appropriate clinical approaches
- Reviewing cases and changing treatment when necessary
- Completing required clinical documentation
- Making referrals when additional services are appropriate
Requirements
- Master’s degree in Marriage and Family Therapy or related field
- Active Vermont LMFT license
- Experience in outpatient or telehealth therapy
- Strong clinical and documentation skills
