Location: North CarolinaWork Setting: Remote / TelehealthPosition Type: Full-TimeSalary: $115,000–$120,000 per year with full benefitsSchedule: Monday–Friday, 9:00 AM–5:00 PM
Job Summary
We are seeking a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist to provide remote counseling services for clients throughout North Carolina. The role includes meeting with clients virtually, identifying treatment goals, providing ongoing therapy, and supporting individuals, couples, and families as they work through personal and relational challenges.
A typical workday may include conducting therapy sessions, updating treatment plans, completing clinical notes, reviewing client progress, and identifying when additional resources or referrals may be appropriate. This position is ideal for an LMFT who enjoys direct client care and is confident managing clinical responsibilities in a remote setting.
Responsibilities
- Provide therapy services through a secure telehealth platform
- Complete intake appointments and ongoing clinical sessions
- Work with clients on relationship concerns, family stress, parenting challenges, anxiety, and emotional health needs
- Establish clear treatment goals and update care plans as needed
- Track client progress and document clinical updates accurately
- Maintain professional communication with clients regarding care expectations
- Use sound clinical judgment when assessing risk or referral needs
- Follow state, federal, and ethical requirements for remote therapy services
Requirements
- Active LMFT license in North Carolina
- Master’s degree in Marriage and Family Therapy, Counseling, Psychology, or a related field
- Experience providing therapy to individuals, couples, and/or families
- Comfortable using telehealth platforms and electronic health records
- Strong clinical documentation and treatment planning skills
- Clear written and verbal communication skills
- Reliable internet connection and a private workspace for remote care
