Job Summary
The Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) will provide individual, couples, and family therapy to clients throughout Delaware. The position involves assessing client concerns, identifying treatment goals, providing appropriate therapeutic interventions, and reviewing progress throughout care. The therapist will address concerns such as relationship difficulties, communication problems, family conflict, emotional stress, and life changes. Responsibilities also include maintaining treatment plans and clinical records, responding to risk concerns when necessary, and following Delaware requirements for professional and telehealth practice.
Responsibilities
- Conduct individual, couples, and family therapy sessions
- Complete clinical intakes and assess client needs
- Establish and update treatment goals and care plans
- Address relationship, communication, family, and emotional concerns
- Apply therapeutic approaches appropriate to each client’s needs
- Monitor progress and adjust treatment when clinically indicated
- Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation
Requirements
- Master’s degree in Marriage and Family Therapy or related field
- Active LMFT license in Delaware
- Experience working with relationship-focused treatment models
- Ability to manage a full-time virtual caseload
- Reliable internet connection and private workspace
