Licensed Massage Therapist - Daytime Instructor Opportunity
Pay: $25.00-$30.00 per hour
Schedule: Approximately 24 hours per week
Location: Panama City, Florida
Hand & Stone Massage and Facial Spa in Panama City Beach is helping share a local opportunity for an experienced Licensed Massage Therapist who is interested in teaching and supporting the future of the massage therapy profession.
A local massage therapy school is seeking a Florida Licensed Massage Therapist to serve as a daytime instructor. This is a separate position with the school and is not employment with Hand & Stone.
The role may be a strong fit for an experienced therapist who enjoys mentoring others, explaining massage techniques, and helping new professionals build confidence and practical skills.
Prior teaching experience is helpful but not required.
Available Schedule
The school prefers:
Thursday, Friday and Saturday
8:30 a.m.-5:00 p.m.
Approximately 24 paid hours per week
The school will also consider:
Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday
8:30 a.m.-5:00 p.m.
Approximately 24 paid hours per week

Position Responsibilities
Teach classroom and hands-on massage therapy courses
Demonstrate massage techniques, proper body mechanics, and professional standards
Provide instruction in areas such as Swedish massage, relaxation massage, deep tissue techniques, hot stone massage, and related curriculum
Supervise students during practical instruction and student clinic
Evaluate student skills, testing, attendance, and overall progress
Provide clear and constructive feedback
Maintain a professional, supportive, and respectful learning environment
Complete required grading, documentation, and administrative tasks
Qualifications
Active Florida Massage Therapy License required
Three or more years of professional massage therapy experience preferred
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Dependable, organized, and comfortable instructing groups
Passion for massage therapy and developing future professionals
Ability to successfully complete a background screening
Compensation and Benefits
$25.00-$30.00 per hour, based on experience and qualifications
Consistent three-day workweek
