Location: Rhode Island Position: Full-TimeSalary: $115,000 to $120,000 a yearSchedule: Monday–Friday, 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM

Summary

We’re seeking a Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC) for a remote role supporting Rhode Island clients via telehealth. You’ll provide ongoing counseling, build practical care plans, and keep documentation up to date so the client experience stays organized and consistent. If you like clear scheduling and a predictable routine, this role is designed for that.

Responsibilities

• Provide telehealth counseling sessions and maintain a consistent client schedule
• Complete intakes, evaluations, and progress documentation in an EMR
• Establish treatment goals and deliver structured interventions aligned with those goals
• Identify barriers to progress and adjust the approach as clinically appropriate
• Maintain professional boundaries and follow HIPAA/telehealth requirements
• Participate in case consultation or team check-ins as required by the employer
• Respond appropriately to urgent clinical concerns using established protocols

Requirements

• Active Rhode Island LMHC license in good standing
• Master’s degree in Counseling, Psychology, or related behavioral health field
• Experience in outpatient mental health (telehealth a plus)
• Comfortable providing structured therapy and documenting clearly
• Strong reliability with a Monday–Friday schedule
