Licensed Nursing Home Administrator (LNHA)

Ball HealthCare Services, Inc. is seeking an experienced administrator for our Monroe Manor Health & Rehabilitation Center in Monroeville, Alabama. You must have the ability to plan and direct the operations of the facility to ensure quality and appropriateness of resident/patient care meets or exceeds the company and regulatory standards. Responsible to ensure the well-being and good health of each resident and to ensure compliance with applicable federal, state, and local regulatory standards and regulations governing the facility. Responsibilities include but not limited to staffing, overseeing all departments, manages resident's care, financial management, marketing, and community outreach. Monitors and directs execution of policies and procedures and needed procedural changes. Acts as the liaison between the facility, residents, families, community groups and hospital administrators.
Qualifications:
- Must be graduated from an accredited college or university with a bachelor's degree in Health Services Administration, Human Services, Public Health or a related field and a valid Alabama State Nursing Home Administrator's license
- Must have three(3) years of professional experience in healthcare administration with at least one(1) year experience as a Skilled Nursing Facility Administrator
- Must be knowledgeable of resident rights and supports an atmosphere which allows for the privacy, dignity and well-being of all residents in a safe, secure environment
- Must have a comprehensive understanding of Medicare, Medicaid bylaws and other legal policies •Adheres to confidentiality of all data, including residents, employees and operations data and HIPAA regulations
- Must possess good verbal and written skills in communication
- Must have patience, tact, enthusiasm and a positive attitude toward the elderly
