LICENSED PRACTICAL NURSE (LPN) | CONTRACT ASSIGNMENT JOB OVERVIEW
Seeking a compassionate and skilled Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) for a contract opportunity in a skilled nursing and rehabilitation setting. The LPN will provide direct patient care, administer medications and treatments, monitor resident conditions, and collaborate with the interdisciplinary healthcare team to deliver exceptional patient outcomes.

POSITION DETAILS- Position: Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN)
- Employment Type: Contract Assignment
- Assignment Length: 11 Weeks
- Start Date: September 26, 2026
- End Date: December 4, 2026
- Shift Time: 6:00 AM 6:30 PM
- Meal Break: 30 Minutes
- 12.5-Hour Day Shift
- Schedule: Sunday, Friday, and Saturday
- Guaranteed Hours: 36 Hours Per Week
- Pay Rate:$27.30 - $31.85 per hour
- Active Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN/LVN) license in good standing
- Current BLS certification preferred
- Previous experience in long-term care, rehabilitation, skilled nursing, or acute care settings preferred
- Strong medication administration and patient assessment skills
- Excellent communication and documentation abilities
- Ability to work effectively within an interdisciplinary healthcare team
- Strong organizational and time-management skills
- Commitment to providing high-quality, patient-centered care
- Provide direct nursing care in accordance with physician orders and individualized care plans
- Administer medications, treatments, and nursing procedures safely and accurately
- Monitor and document resident conditions and report significant changes to the healthcare team
- Assist with admissions, discharges, and ongoing patient assessments
- Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation
- Collaborate with physicians, registered nurses, therapists, and support staff
- Ensure compliance with infection prevention, safety, and regulatory standards
- Educate residents and families regarding treatments and care plans
- Promote resident comfort, dignity, safety, and quality of life
- Guaranteed 36 hours per week
- Competitive pay rate of $27.30 - $31.85 per hour
- Day-shift assignment
