As a Licensed Practical Nurse or Registered Nurse, your role extends far beyond clinical tasks - you are a steady presence, an advocate, and a trusted partner in each resident's care journey. From medication administration and care planning to collaborating with families and interdisciplinary teams, you play a vital role in creating a safe, compassionate, and person-centered environment. In this role you will:
- Administer medications and treatments per physician's orders
- Complete assessments and document accurately in the medical record
- Monitor residents for changes in condition and notify providers/families as needed
- Supervise and support CNAs to ensure quality resident care
- Respond to emergencies and urgent situations calmly and efficiently
- Communicate effectively with residents, families, and interdisciplinary team members
- Ensure compliance with state and federal regulations
Who you are:
- Current LPN or RN license in good standing in Indiana
- Long-term care experience preferred
- Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills
- Excellent communication and leadership abilities
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Compassion for serving older adults
